That’s got to be the weirdest thing I’ve ever baked.
But you know what? They were actually okay. So okay in fact that I can see myself making them again.
So there you go.
It’s a bit rough and ready at times: I have been left with an ingredient once and with these muffins, the cooking time was out by 30 minutes!
But the recipes are simple recipes and they work.
The book has all the old favourites as well as some more unusual recipes, like this one.
But that doesn’t mean you have to ignore them.
Being adventurous with food can pay off.
