The Sony World Photography Awards exhibition describes itself as the ‘best in contemporary photography.’Some of it is plain awesome, like Lee Chee Wai’s Impressions of Fine Art in Xiapu or Mitch Dobrowner’s Storms.Some of it is challenging, like Donald Weber’s Life in the Exclusion Zone or Helen Thompson’s Last Meal.And some of it I really liked for no other reason than the fact that the image or subject matter appealed to me, like Rona Chang’s Queens edition or Filippo di Rosa’s San Franscico:
