My itchy feet have won.
Unable to wait until next year for my next adventure abroad, I am making plans for the August Bank Holiday. It will be a small affair (the budget is tiny). A few days away. Enough to keep me going until next summer I hope.
Incidentally, I have already decided about my trip next year. I really enjoy the planning of a trip. The anticipation. Reading about the country; the history; activities and places to eat. But let’s not get ahead of ourself. First, the August Bank Holiday.
There are surprisingly a fair few options: Iceland (I know I’ve just been… but what about the Westfjords?); the Faroe Islands; the South of France; Moldova and Macedonia amongst others. Currently working out flights and possible itineraries.
So exciting!
